HC/MC-130J Update

The WC-J's have a Nav. Is that what you are referring too?

If you're talking about the WC-130J guys from Keesler, then no. The nav is strictly a nav by trade, but he performs no navigator duties. His actual job on the bird is as a weather officer. He monitors data from the dropsonde and such.

As far as the MC-J crew, yes much of it (officer-wise) is jello, but as a part of the MC-J recap team from the guard, I can say with confidence that no FE is being considered.

*Correction* SOWT, you are correct, they do have a Nav separate from the Weather O, but their major role is to operate the radar.
