Hello, ShadowSpear!
I've been lurking on this site for the past few weeks, reading some of the many great posts here for inspiration and information to help my training in preparation of joining.
A little back-story on me: I was misdiagnosed with Crohn's Disease when I was 18, which derailed my childhood dreams of becoming a Marine like my father.
Well, to avoid telling a sob story to a bunch of hardened bad-asses, fast-forward a few years later, I was finally able to get this ugly scar cleared off my record.
I'm currently finishing up school, and plan on enlisting by the end of the year, or very early next year.
I have dreams of becoming a Recon Marine, but I know it's one step at a time, my first goal is to earn the Eagle, Globe & Anchor, that alone will be a life-long dream come true.
