Hello.

I just thought it was nifty that your 2nd post in a year and a half was to announce that you are going to selection at age 30+.

Best of success to you.

Thanks, I appreciate that. It's been a long road. I began the application process in August of 2013. Hit a snag when I go a hernia from trying to save a rep in the squat rack. Had surgery, got healthy, resubmitted my package. Dealt with all manner of foot dragging, incompetence, and laziness from admin folks at the company, battalion, regimental and 4th MARDIV levels. My package got "lost" twice. It took so long that the cover sheet and CSO checklist changed during the process and had to be resubmitted. My NSW Medical form will now be more than a year old so I have to redo all that... But it's all good now, because somehow a Full Bird got involved (I was cc'ed in the email) and suddenly my package moved very quickly. Now I am going. I have had all this time to prep and I feel pretty damn ready.

Not going to wish you luck cuz I don't believe in it. I will say it looks all your hard work and perseverance is paying off, so keep at it and it should be amazing where the Universe takes you.

LL
