To start I'm Texas born and raised but I am currently going to college in Georgia and have enlisted in the Georgia Army National Guard as a Cavalry Scout (19D) so I could take part in the SMP contract program. I want to branch Intelligence and am heavily interested in Physiological Operations but am starting to gain more interest in the "Intelligence Support Activity" as I've read more about Delta from Charles A. Beckwith. I enlisted in a Combat Arms MOS instead of an Intelligence MOS because I wanted to really learn Infantry combat tactics outside of the ROTC program before Advanced Camp and prepare myself a little more for what is expected from SOF. I still struggle with whether or not I still want to commission as an Officer, remain enlisted and recontact into Active duty, or pursue WOCS.
