I've served 6 years in an Engineering Squadron in the Air Force Reserves. After a year of trying, I finally found a way into Active Duty Army. I go to MEPS this coming Monday to talk with a job counselor and get a BCT date. I'm hoping for an 18x contract or an Intel slot.

I appreciate the welcome. I've scoured this site, another forum.com and professionalsoldiers.com and I have found a great amount of information. I'm sure I will be in contact with a few of you depending on what MOS I pick up next week.

I've never been around the SOF community or SOF enablers within my time in the military but have found a few mentors to help me along my way.

Two paths that I have been interested in are Intel (specifically 35N/SOT-A and SF). I understand they have two different jobs and look forward to the future in either.
