Hello all. I enlisted in the Army in February 2019. Serving in the military is something I have always wanted to do. I went to college for a few years and was in business school but I was never really interested in my studies and ultimately burned out and left school. I then decided that it was time to really pursue my dreams of a military career.
I really had no idea how the whole enlistment/recruitment process worked, so one day I just walked right into the Army recruiting office to learn what steps I needed to take. I went to MEPS and took my ASVAB 2 weeks later and got the ball rolling. I then started really looking into all the contracts and occupations in the Army and I enlisted with an 18X contract. I am aware that I will be faced with many challenges along the way to my dream of being in Special Forces but I am confident as I am very driven and really want this. I spend almost the entirety of my free time either working out or studying up on military subjects.
I come to this forum in hopes of soaking up as much knowledge as possible about being in the military, as well as finding good advice on preparation and training for SFAS.
