New to the Board.. NEC 5352 West Coast the entire time SBU/SBT-12 Dec 88 to Feb 2003.. Left the unit for one year 93 to 94 for back surgery. If you were a Boatguy on the West Coast.. You probably know me.. Hint.. Crooked thumbs.
 
Ok, you have all made mention about the Thumbs.. Heres the deal. I was in training cell running an evolution and my corpman was out playing Mr. Badguy and forgot my callsign.. He wanted to say something over the radio that would be gauranteed that I would know he was talking to me.. I have super long crooked thumbs.. Imagine two big toes on your hand instead of thumbs.. So doc comes up on the radio.. "Funkythumb Funkythumb, this is Doc.. Over" and like all stupid nicknames..It stuck.
