“Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do.” - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Hello, my name is Tim and I am currently an Intel Analyst (35F) for an Army Space Support Team (Colorado National Guard) based out of Colorado Springs. I happened to find your site a while ago while researching some information for recommened reading lists (to supplement the CENTCOM required reading) but never took the time to fully join the site, until today. I recently returned from a tour to RC(SW) supporting I MEF FWD/II MEF FWD with Space Support that Marines traditionally do not have organically. Just wanted to say thank you for allowing me to join the site, I find the wealth of knowledge that these forums contains can only help to increase the capabilities that I provide to the end user.

Sadly not, I didn't qualify with the spaceborne laser platform required for my Space Shuttle Assistant Door Gunner ASI. Technically I don't have to attend ROTC to become a Space Cadet. I only have to attend the FA-40/NSSI Space 200 course like all of the other "Space Professionals" do... and glad to be here.

Nicely done and Welcome Aboard.

I think we should start doing theme songs for members. This one is easy enough :D :

Sadly, it is true CDG, I am a "rocket man." Missile warning happens to be one of the space force enhancements IAW Joint Publication 3-14. We also cover ISR, Space based PNT, Environmental Monitoring as well as SATCOM. Although by Army standards "rocket man" isn't complicated enough, so it would probably be more along the lines of "liquid/solid, single/dual/triple stage thrust propulsion, early warning and monitoring launch detection specialist." Possibly something longer with more redundant/random terms thrown in for good measure.

Not so much overworked, but someone who definitely believes in putting in the hours needed to accomplish the task. But sometimes I do feel that some of the tasks I am assigned will most likely be the death of me...
