Hello all,
I am new to this site and am interested in information about the MARSOC program. I am only 17 years of age, and a senior in High School. My ship date for MCRD SD is 20130701. My MOS is 0300. My PFT score is 263. In short, any information about MARSOC would be much appreciated.

With all due respect,
TH Eames (WannaBeMARSOC)

Welcome to SS. There is a lot to be learned, and I expect that many of your questions can be answered here. Take some time to read through the threads/topics of interest to you. It is a great way to learn about this site, and get the bulk of your questions addressed. As with many things, the more effort you put in to something, the more you get out of it. Best of luck in your quest.

Welcome.

Your MOS isn't 0300, that is what you are attempting to achieve first. You may have a contract that states you will have a shot at attempting to gain that MOS, however just like everything in the Marines, it must first be earned.

I don't think that there is really much information that you can request, that hasn't already been discussed on the board in full detail. My suggestion would be to do quite a bit of reading before you decide a question is worth asking.

Make sure you concentrate on achieving your goals one step at a time. They will start out extremely challenging, and only get more and more difficult from there.

Welcome to the site. I will gladly change your username to reflect MARSOC once you have earned that title. In the meantime, please pick another username and either one of the other admins or I will be happy to change it for you.

He already has a PM waiting.

Thank you sir. ShadowSpear is all ready better than the last forum I tried (Leatherneck) would not give out any information. Thank you all for the welcoming. It's nice to be welcomed to something!

I am from the TL forums and we have had a few head butting sessions with LN...but this is a pretty professionally oriented place and is treasure trove of valuable information so it should be alright.
