Introduction

Hello,

I'm a 92A QM officer currently assigned to the 10th MTN DIV. I've been at Drum since Dec '09 and was in RC-S from March '11 to April '12. I am currently planning my transition from active duty to the Colorado National Guard.

My main desire here (other than to enjoy your fine company) is to get linked in with National Guard SF community; specifically 5/19th. I've been lurking on the forums for a few days and I'm excited to participate in the discussion and bring what I can to the table. Thanks for having me.

I have no prior connection to CO, but the future household-6 is finishing her degree there and the plan is for us to plant some (theoretical) roots. I'm grew up an Army brat and finished highschool and undergrad in Arizona (Go Jacks). Fort Drum really isn't as miserable as most people make it out to be, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited to get back out West.

No intel connections here beyond 3 BCT, but I know a fistful of logisticians across post. We get a little segregated, but the Log Life isn't miserable (though it isn't exactly the dream job either).

Word. Wilkommen to the site! I have a good bud who is in the CO Natural Guard, as well, and was a PL with the current XO of the 10th SFG(A) GSB XO. Maybe he could point you in the right direction WRT the 5/19th.
