To any of the moderating staff who might see this: I believe my last post on this thread got buried under all of the welcomes. I'm looking for guidance on the proper way to get permission to promote my website.

Thanks for the response Rackmaster. However, this really isn't a business that I am advertising. It's a resource that I created for fellow maritime operators - military, LE, or private security. I am trying to let people know that it exists.

I don't want to advertise, or have a banner. I just want to start a thread, possibly under Training and Employment. My website has got plenty of info on both of those.

That being the case, what is my next step?

Is there any update on the vetting process? I haven't seen any recent postings talking about it after a search, nor any updates on the vetting thread in the Help desk forum.

Would it be possible to email/pm my substantiating documents to a member of the moderating staff if the vetting upload documents button will continue to be broken for a while?

Send your documents to one of the admins.

There's been a lot of work behind the scenes by the site staff I make the vetting process run smoother. In sure once there's a definite answer the All Seeing One will pass it along.
