Greetings Warriors,
I'm currently active duty in the Marines doing Air Wing stuff. While I enjoy it a lot, I think I am capable of doing more. So if/when I get career designation in August or September this year I will think about putting together a MARSOC package. I just started the 10 week A&S Prep Program and will repeat that with modifications until the time comes.
If there are any officers who have gone from a non combat MOS into MARSOC I'd love to chat. I'm currently on a very easy deployment augmenting the Air Force in southwest Asia. So I'll have plenty of time to PT and learn Arabic.
I've been a runner my whole life. Finished my 10th marathon in March and have done two full Ironman Triathlons in addition to dozens of shorter course races. I think my biggest challenge will be putting a few dozen pound of gear on and still completing long distances.
I look forward to being part of this community.
