Welcome to the site! Good luck with Arabic; a bit difficult at first but well worth the effort I think. One of my university instructors in Arabic (many years ago) had worked at DLI and he was a great teacher. I hope you are just as lucky.

Welcome, however you are not a 35p yet. You are just simply at language school. Plenty have rocked out of DLI and found themselves being forced to reclass. Attention to detail.

Don't get anyone pregnant. Don't get married. Don't be stupid. Pass your DLPT. Improve your PT, get yourself stronger. There's a nice weight room on post, use it. Everything else will fall into place.
