Hey guys, my name is Joe **** and I joined the Marine Corps in 2009 as an infantryman. I became a machine gunner and was assigned to C co. 1/8. I deployed to Afghanistan in 2010 as a machine gun team leader and again in 2012 as a machine gun section leader. After my second deployment I felt called to special operations, but found out that my wife was pregnant with our second child so I put that calling aside and took a state-side assignment working on the rifle range on MCRD Parris Island. I was recently reassigned as a Primary Marksmanship Instructor(PMI). Being a PMI and teaching future Marines basic marksmanship skills is fulfilling, but it's not where I want to be. Now that my kids are a little older and easier for my wife to handle on her own my wife and I are ready to pursue our calling to special operations. My MARSOC screener told me about ShadowSpear and I know there is a wealth of knowledge and experience here. I'm eager to learn and would be extremely thankful for any advice or knowledge that anyone might be throw in my direction in my preparation for MARSOC. I look forward to the opportunity to possibly work with some of you one day.
