Hello everyone,
My name is Desmond and I reside in Northern New England. I am currently graduating high school and working on my EMT-B certification. I'm also a member of my local SAR Team. I am planning my enlistment into the Air Force, where I aspire to be a PJ or Pararescueman. The reason I am joining the Air Force is because of my biggest motivator, my dad. He spent 10 years in the AF. Talking to him one day we began to talk about Air Force Parareacueman and how they were not only a tight knit, skilled group of guys, but what they due and the types of operations they perform. Being interested in SAR, Rescue and the military my whole life, I believe my mind was set at a very young age. At the time I didn't realize that it took not only heart and physical capabilities, but it also took mental capabilities too. The reason I have joined Shadowspear is to find a mentor that will help me and guide me to achieve my goals of becoming a Pararescueman. Knowing that at the end of the day it will all fall upon me to listen to advice and constructive criticism.. I believe I can do whatever I set my mind to if I have the right guidance and mindset. I'm a highly motivated individual looking to not only join the SOF Community but to make an impact in many lives while doing a job that I've wanted to do since the age of 6!
