Hey guys, current 12B in the TX National Guard. Joined the Guard 1.5 years ago super motivated to get my degree and swap over to active side, and then realized how the Guard really is(or at least is with my unit). Lost motivation, but have been regaining that, and taking those heavy steps towards getting my body back to what it was. I was helping a unit gear up for a deployment, and they called down some TACP guys to help instruct on commo(9 lines, CAS, things of that nature). Got to shooting the shit with them while I had downtime, and got motivated to either ride out my time with my initial contract, or try and get a 368 signed off for an Air Guard TACP unit. Wife is about to leave for USAF BMT (AD), and I'm going to take that time that she's gone to get back to and pass my peak.
