Hello. I've decided to participate on this forum to log my progress toward my goal of joining special forces. I look forward to contributing on the forum. Thank you for having me.

I see I may need to add even more introductory material than I first thought so here goes. I joined the army at the beginning of 2011 slotted as a 35n pending TSSCI. Well I never got that pesky clearance so was re-classed in basic needs of the army as a 12n horizontal construction engineer. About three and a half years ago I began to be interested in the idea of becoming a member of the special forces. I've worked on and off the past few years to reach that goal. I injured my knee during the second half of 2013 and tonight I've decided it's recouped enough that I can begin to aggressively try to physically prepare myself to join. I am currently not qualified but hope to be sometime in the next year. Until then I'm living it up in Hawaii sipping on Mai Tais.

Welcome. It's Special Forces, always capitalized. If you could not get a security clearance to be a 35N, you can't get one for Special Forces either.
