I left for Marine Corps boot camp in July of 2014 at the age of 18, graduated in October. After a 24 day boot leave I left for ITB in the 52 area of camp pendleton. In ITB I got the opportunity to volunteer for Recon and I jumped at the chance to accomplish my dream early on in my career. I got to MART on December 11, picked up with BRPC class 2-15 on December 15. I graduated BRPC on Febuary 4th and started BRC the same day. I then graduated BRC on April 29th. For several years before joining I was a lurker on this site slowly collecting information that could possibly help me in my career. I told myself the only way I would ever join this site was if I earned the coveted title of "verified SOF". Now that goal has been achieved. Since this community was so helpful to me with answering questions I had as a wannabe, I would like to return the favor and give advice to young motivated marines that have the same dream that I did.
