All,

Marine checking in. I'm a triple threat of POG-ness: I'm an officer (strike one), in a non-combat arms MOS (strike two), and to top it all off, I'm currently a Reservist (strike three).

Joining this forum because I'm pending an IUT to a Reserve Recon unit. Hopefully everything works out. If it does, I will stay in my lane, keep my mouth shut, and learn as much as I can.

In all honesty...I'm just trying to show off my medals. It is a truth universally acknowledged that staff officers get all the bling, cause it's easy to get into iAPS from an air-conditioned office at Leatherneck with the S/G/C-1 just down the hall....

What a great legacy. My dad served in the US Army (that's how he got his citizenship), but alas, that's about the extent/length of our family's martial heritage.
