Hello all, I am Jarod. Currently serving in 1/501st (ABN) 4-25 BCT. I served for three years as an 11C with the 1/509th (ABN). The unit mission was to provide realistic opposition for rotational units. It was there that I became interested in SOF after being attached to members of 3rd group to provide a functioning AUP force for them to train. I was then reassigned to the 1/501st in JBER, AK. Here, I have completed IMLC, BLC and EIB. I am planning to attend Jumpmaster school, start college and attend SFAS in the near future.

Correct, you are. It was an experience. I enjoyed it sometimes, hated it other times. All in all I can't complain about it though. I got to see how things work on a large scale for the most part when I was acting as Green Forces, and learned areas of emphasis by watching other units' common mistakes while I acted as opposing forces. It was a worthwhile experience.
Nice. I did a rotation with the 325 in "97". It was July and miserable. Welcome again brother.
