Good morning guys/gals,
I'm pilot538, here to just soak up all the knowledge I can. I'm currently a rising senior in University, majoring in computer science. After 3 summers of Intelligence Community internships, I'm realizing that sitting behind a desk isn't what I want to do. I was hoping that deployment via this route of work would be more hands-on, but never getting outside the wire and never getting dirty or getting out there after it just doesn't appeal to me.
After a lot of conversations over the summer with various people (some in uniform, some not) I am considering enlisting in the Army as an 18X after I graduate in May. When my body doesn't allow me to anymore, my mind will still be sharp (hopefully) and I can come back to the IC.
Looking forward to gaining as much knowledge and insight as I can. Thanks.
