Hello, I’m 31 and prepping for the long journey into special forces. 18B is the goal, Company A 5/19th SF group in California. I’m currently running a strength/conditioning regiment, gonna follow it up with ACFT and SFRE specific training along with running through the SFAS handbook a few times before enlisting to make sure I’m as on point physically as I can be.
I’m really excited with the recent changes to the Army in the last few years. Changing to the ACFT; making OSUT 22 weeks allowing more time on skills training which will hopefully help for SFAS and the pipeline; 18x MOS selection at contract signing.
Also pretty lucky I have an awesome boss who will let me take this journey.
Looking forward to being a part of the community and learning from all of you.
Thank you for your time.
