With regards to Greenland, Trump asked for military options to be drawn up, which would have meant the U.S. military potentially confronting the Danish military, and he did say earlier they were going to pull out of Iran very soon. Trump discussing how to acquire Greenland, US military always an option, White House says

Massively degrading our enemy's ability to make war is an accomplishment of note. It's only been what, three weeks? Were you expecting them to come to the table? I don't really know what I was expecting.

^that makes no sense. This is the "Israel and Iran" thread. The "strait" you mentioned is the Strait of Hormuz, which is no where near Greenland. We never attacked Greenland, so there is nothing to "pull out" from.

We have contingencies for all kinds of things. That doesn't mean we were "almost ready to fight. And as far as I know, at the time of your post the president was not claiming to have "won and is pulling out."

I think a lot of people are simply failing to see the geopolitical nuance at play here...

Admittedly, the world is watching a bizarre saga unfold. My focus however, is crystal clear; I see things that others don't. We have spent most of our adult lives watching EXPERTS at building glitchy software explain how important it is for us to follow their lead with regard to experimental medical treatments. We've watched career politicians communicate their expertise of gender dysphoria. We listen with bated breath as Hollywood actors and professional athletes explain what "correct" foreign policy should look like. We listen to white millionaire establishment politicians as they tell us how important it is to hate white millionaires because of their inherent racism...
...its no wonder so many of us are having a hard time understanding what the left is trying to explain to us about current global conflicts.

One thing is clear: the United States is actively reshaping the global order, even if it means rewriting the rules of geography, diplomacy, and common sense. Greenland is directly related to the Straight of Hormuz, Israel makes all of the foreign policy decisions for American Republicans. Democrats speak only truth.

My truth is a little different. The fact is, annexing Greenland is critical first step in securing dominance over the Strait of Hormuz. By extension, annexing Greenland (in addition to transitioning Canada from a sovereign nation into 10 additional US states) is a critical step in pulling out a victory in the escalating standoff with Iran. Greenland is the high ground in the 8-Dimensional global chessboard being used by the current administration. The icy expanse of Greenland holds the secret to controlling one of the world's most vital oil chokepoints. I can't really explain "how" because the nuts and bolts of how this type of diplomacy works is still a mystery. If we control Greenland, we control the Arctic. If we control the Arctic, we'll have the leverage to force Canada to play ball. Once we control Canada, we control the world's shipping lanes. If we control the shipping lanes, we control the Strait of Hormuz.

It's all connected. Trust me on this one.

I'm not sure if this counts as proof, but we offered a whole bunch of money for the heads of some IRGC leaders after the fact.

The Karbala attack was a pretty big deal. Way more intricate and aggressive than a lot of other stuff we saw from the locals. I was thinking Kataib Hezbollah, but even if it was them (and apparently it wasn't), that's still Iran behind it.

I think that we can all possibly agree that Iran did need to get it for everything combined.

A lot of us way back then after reading it in Stars and Stripes instantly pointed fingers at Iran.

Totally. WAY too professional for the local muj.

We all had IRGC / Kataib Hezbollah in Iraq, and the Haqqani Network in Afghanistan. There were several competent enemy groups out there, but KH and HQN were tough.
 
It's always interesting seeing various reports from Iran. It can be challenging to know what's going on due to conflicting reports.

Iran puts out so much ridiculous nonsense that, if they ever do report something noteworthy, no one will believe them. They love claiming they shot down U.S. jets; latest claim is a F-15E was downed. However, there is a lot of wild video consistent with CSAR (see below). No word from CENTCOM yet.
