Something like this would be great for movement through congested areas, especially in the case of wrong turns, and automatic re-routing, etc.

They just need to hook up a receiver to them... Very cool gadget, I want a pair.

I can imagine land nav with a pair of those in the future... who needs a map? Oh, except when they break or run out of juice.
