Off-topic: a LOT of the space-battle scenes were taken almost verbatim from old WWII dogfight footage. I don't remember the station (either Discovery or History) had a demo on it several months ago, to include a side-by-side of several of the scenes where the twists, chases, and dives lined up exactly with the old video. [and if I'm not mistaken, the Han/Luke gunnery shots were among them]
