Badly written. Terrible plot. I know it's a product of its time and all that but the whole "she thought longingly of her husband" all the time was pretty sexist, viewed from today.
I think it had potential but fuck me. I finished it just to say I'd read it. I'd rather read The Catcher In The Rye again or give myself an enema with the collective works of all the economics lecturers in the world.
