Hi all,
I have a couple brief questions on the land navigation training at the Marine Corps' BRC/RTAP. I'm hoping someone with experience might be able to shed light on the subject...
My understanding is (currently) at the tail end of RTAP, there is a two week land navigation period where students typically cover between 80-120 miles on foot in training. I'm under the impression that the training becomes "continuous" at a certain point where a student will search for points during the day and continue through the night until they can find all their points.
1. Is land navigation practice introduced earlier at RTAP or is this "two week block" the first exposure Marines get to land naviagtion in RTAP?
2. How many days is the actual land navigation exam itself?
