Military Misconduct

In before DoD or an branch makes it regulation where all social media uploads from active, reserves, and national guardsmen service members in any capacity or type all have to be sent first to publics affairs offices for approval or be punished under the UCMJ?

It's not that hard to do things in the public eye without wearing your uniform while you do it. I did it. Lots of people on the site did it. I don't understand how we let it get to the point where service members are posting thirst traps and engaging in private for-profit enterprises while wearing their uniforms.
Like that MI Tik Tok Derp girl that's a deployment 10 at best and a four if she actually bathed herself and took care of her hair?

<---- me as of right now.

Why was the Army involved and not NGB? Because he was in an AGR position or GO maybe? That should have been a State or NGB investigation, but I'm probably unaware of some reg or whatever.
Do active duty officers get regularly put in National Guard slots for Active Guard Reserve if there's a dire need or on the regular?

It's been a bit and some of the current Guard guys can school me on this, but AD officers are assigned to Guard units at the brigade (maybe battalion, I'm not sure) level to oversee training. As for a Guard position, I'm not aware of an AD officer filling that role. Those slots are Guard and state-controlled when not Federalized, so I don't believe it is even legal for that to happen.

I know there are AD folks in Air Guard units, but I don't know how those positions are broken down.

And all of this is distinctly different from the Active Guard and reserve (AGR) program where Guardsmen fill fulltime positions to maintain unit readiness. Training, payroll, maintenance, etc.

DoD IG investigates allegations against all GO's.
TAG is a title 10 position IIRC, so he is effectively on active duty.
He says the soldier he is accused of having an affair denies any sexual misconduct, but inappropriate relationship covers more than sex per my local JAG.

My state doesn't have any regular active duty officers I'm aware of at the BN/BDE; they're all AGRs.
54 states and territories, so maybe somebody else does it different.

I do vaguely remember talk of an active duty 18A who was filling a slot down a one of the line companies as part of some pilot program, but I've got no idea the specifics/accuracy of that.
Just as likely he left active straight into an AGR role.
