Hello,
I go by Olsen, I am a 27 year old male from the Rockies. I am joining the forums to learn as much as i can about the TACP career field and transitioning from a lower tempo career field.
I am a former Security Forces Ssgt. (E-5 in the Air Force) As many of you may be aware Security Forces was nothing like what I was told by recruiters or advertising. I know must jobs are glamorized but I think Security Forces is worse then most. I was very disappointed with the career field and after 6 years and two deployments I got out but as I am finishing up University I am wanting to get back in and go with something closer to what I wanted from the military. TACP in the Guard or Reserve seems like the best option for me at this point in my life so that really what i will be looking in to.
