My Random TV Thread

I have been watching the cbs show SEAL Team thanks to my free cbs trial and so far I have made some observations
1.) I have yet to see them get on a damn navy ship

2.)Devgru budget must be really bad because they have one supply girl who also serves as their drone overwatch person

3.) They drink a lot before missions after missions during deployment (might as well be called cheers)

@AWP will judge you soon.

Until then I will chime in and say its a GOOD Show!!!

:thumbsup: 8-) O_o :ROFLMAO:

Latter part of Black Sails now...I guess Royal Marines sailing ships is a bad idea because all they want to do is get back to shore so they can fight on land.

Also, the intro sequence has to be the best in TV, right?

Anyone here watched "The Bureau"? It's a French TV series on Amazon Prime (might have just changed to the Prime Sundance channel). Started watching it a few weeks ago and got hooked. It's a really well-produced show that centers around the French DGSE (basically their CIA+NSA). The plot revolves around the department running undercover agents in Syria/Algeria and various missions/operations. It kind of reminds me of a French version of The Wire. Highly recommend. The characters feel fairly realistic/representative of people you'd find in an intelligence agency.

Amazon Prime - The Bureau (Season 1)

Also, for any of the Arabic speakers out there, it is heavy with Levantine dialect and North African dialects. You can write it off as language maintenance ;)

Spiral is another good French cop series. Was on NETFLIX.

So what's worse than Royal Marines sailing ships?

An English Governor enlisting the Spanish Armada to burn down nassau. Spanish Marines get even more undisciplined than Royal Marines!

Final season of "The Clone Wars" is out on Disney plus. Last four episodes cover the execution of Order 66, Mauls escape, and sets the stage for the Empire's rise pre-Luke Deathstar fiasco.

If you're a Star Wars nerd and have kids this series might be a good way of putting Frozen on hiatus.

It was very well done.
