Finally watching the Leftovers. Mind bending and non-linear, but... not at risk of doing a David Lynch (Twin Peaks, etc...) or JJ Abrams (Lost). Finishing up season 3 now.
I watched it earlier. It's very raw and it's definitely not a comedy special.
I was excited until I saw that they're partnering with Todd Howard and Bethesda, who've already ruined Fallout games.
@SpongeBob*24 I don't know if you're watching Penny Dreadful: City of Angels. There's a plot or something and some Nazis and stuff, and whatever, but the point is:
I appreciate the heads up. The movie is one of my top-10; I had a difficult time getting into the series. Maybe I’ll give the 2nd season a shot.@Ooh-Rah New season of Hanna is up on Prime. Know you like that show.
Banshee...a Cinemax series but it's probably available through Netflix, etc. It kind of runs under the radar and may not win any awards for plausibility but it's plenty entertaining with everything most guys (and gals) look for in an action series. I think season 3 starts this fall. Aside from GOT, it's the only series we really watch. Check it out.
Wayne, whose triangular, iron-pumped build and Batman jawline make him look as if he’s been drawn by Tom of Finland.
ZeroZeroZero has my attention in a big way at the moment. If you're into Narcos/Sicario/Ozark, it's probably up your alley.
I've picked up watching "Dark" recently. Very impressed so far, just finished season 1. A few of the plot points were easy to see but the way it was woven together is pretty well done.
I have been! Watching it dubbed just took a lot of the emotion out of it I think. Subs is 100% the way to go. Ill have to check out The Rain once I'm done with Dark.I'm loving a lot of the high quality foreign shows on netflix these days. Dark is a favorite, as is The Rain (a Dutch show with a similarish creepy/foreboding vibe). I highly recommend watching in the original language with subs.
