Do pushups for not watching Peaky Blinders already...and do flutter kicks for spelling it wrong. :D

The show is amazing. Actors are excellent, script is incredible, set scenes and costumes are accurate, and the plot is extraordinarily good. I haven't watched a poor episode yet over two seasons. You'll enjoy it.

Watched just two episodes last night and TOTALLY hooked!

What do you all think of the latest season of House of Cards? I've checked the thread and NOBODY IS POSTING ABOUT IT SO IT'S OKAY TO ASK
Having recently finished episode 5, I liked the strong start that the season had, but it already feels like it's sagging a little bit. The Putin lookalike is doing a dynamite job, but so far he's the most exciting part of the season. With a few exceptions, the season is moving on a bit listlessly.

I agree with your assessment of this season. However, I thing everyone is keeping quiet to avoid spoiling anything for those of us that can't binge watch it in one sitting. I would recommend a moratorium on all HOC related topics until a reasonable amount of time passes lol

I'm at about the same point and so far it's not living up to seasons 1 and 2. To be fair, that's a lot to live up to.

@Deathy McDeath - my wife binge-watched it this weekend. She's about 3 episodes from the end and her overall report has been that it seemed as if the writers were trying to hard to create the magic, vs. letting the story telling and great dialog make the magic happen. I'll watch it, but I'm committed to Peaky Blinders for right now.

I strongly recommend Mr. Robot for those who have not seen it. I don't want to give away spoilers but it is great - a lot of throwbacks to some awesome movies, one in particular. I would never have thought USA could pull off a show like this. It's in the same artistic/interest vein to me as FARGO or Breaking Bad.

Agree 100% on Peaky Blinders - can't wait for season 3. I enjoyed it much more than Boardwalk Empire. Like a lot of British shows it moves the plot forward fast at 6 episodes a season.

Has Peaky "season 3" been confirmed yet? Seems like they are dragging their feet.

Oh how I wanted to like Boardwalk. Buscemi is an amazing actor, but I just never believed him in such a tough-guy role - I see him more as the lipstick wearing geek in Adam Sandler's Billy Madison, vs. hard loving gangster and killer Nucky Thompson.

I can't watch Boardwalk Empire. It might be the most boring show I have ever seen.
My first attempt at watching it was pretty much the same thing, but then I gave it another try based on what they people said and thought it was pretty good. Lost interest mid way through season three though.

Spooks was pretty good British show. Kept you on your toes that any of the main characters could die at any moment.
