My Random TV Thread

That episode was mind blowing, how did I not see that twist coming?

Fucking Nazi Super Soldier's!! All the clues about Stormfront, including her name.

A few episodes ago I was thinking to myself how ironic that the SJW from Oregon had that name, considering the association with supremacy groups.

1. Is Stormfront really dead? Minus the Nazi angle, she makes me tingle inside. We saw her jacked up, but Compound V is a helluva drug.
2. No "min blown" jokes, but that ending... What a great set up for the new Big Bad w/ Hughie at ground zero.
3. Becca was hawt. That's some bullshit.
4. Homelander 2.0 has to make an appearance. No way Mallory keeps that kid off the radar.
5. Starlight, star bright, first star I...better not finish that rhyme.
6. The episode was a bit too political for my taste, but you could see it coming. Bad enough we're polarized in real life, we have it in a TV series? Art imitates life?
7. (Nice number for the point) The Seven are fracturing. Deep's all pissed off, A-Train betrayed the group, would he do it again. HL knows his whol team is either against him or eating an Almond Joy, and Gus Fring is still out there calling the shots.

Can't wait for Season 3.

The Right Stuff:

Liked it, didn't love it. It was 90% about the personalities of Glenn and Shepherd, with a little Cooper. Almost everyone else was background noise. They absolutely breezed through the medical clinic. I did like how they explored how new everything was, the tension with the sudden fame, the dump that Patrick AFB was. I hope the rest of the series/season explores the other astronauts.

Gene Krantz' autobio spent several paragraphs on Patrick alone and several pages on how half-assed NASA was back then.
