My Random TV Thread

I agree. For me, Hell On Wheels comes to mind. First two seasons were killer, by the middle of season three you could see it going sideways and I stopped watching it. Disappointing because for the first two seasons, its one of my favorites.

I loved Hell on Wheels, season 1 and 2 rocked, 5 was ok.

I started Tulsa King on Paramount+. Entertaining, don't take it seriously. Silvester Stallone as a recently released mob capo from New York exiled to Tulsa, OK. It is a good "filler series" while waiting for the other stuff to drop such as Landman.

I concur with it being good filler. Have you caught Mobland and Mayor of Kingstown, yet?

Yes. Those are great shows! MoK I'm waiting for this season to finish before I start watching. I saw the first episode and decided to put it on hold.

I have 2 series that I would like to recommend one. Was the terminal list and then a spin-off at the terminal list? Lone Wolf Both were very good and you'll know that you'll be getting good quality technical. Advising from jackcar and both chris Pratt , in taylor kitsch are bad to the bone in this series

Death By Lightning on Netflix is good. Reminds me a lot of a book I read about 15 years ago called Destiny of the Republic. Her book on Teddy Roosevelt is also a fantastic read.

Task on HBO Max

I just posted about Dope Thief, this is a slightly better version. I'm not going to look up which one came first, but they're almost identical plots and locations lol.

A couple garbage men turned dope stash house rip off artists get in a little over their heads when a robbery goes bad. Soon a biker gang and the FBI is on their asses. Instead of being set in Philly, it's set in the smaller towns outside of Philly.

Better acting, better plot, but same premise and location as Dope Thief.

The Beast in Me on Netflix starring Claire Danes as an emotionally distressed (shocking!) woman with a new neighbor, one accused of killing his first wife. Casting is good, story is better.

The series builds to an excellent 7th of 8 episodes. The ending is kind of anticlimactic, but understandable. Getting to that ending is the entertainment.
