Death by Lightning on Netflix. The 4-parter follows James Garfield's presidency and assassination, telling his story and the assassin's. The historical details are treated with a surprising amount of accuracy, yes the story is that crazy. Purists might be put off by the mix of period and modern dialogue, but I appreciated the work because it opens the story up to a modern audience. Let's be honest, 1880's speech was quite different from today and modern audiences would probably tune out as a result.

4 episodes, all are entertaining, follow along with Wikipedia or other sites and you'll see the story is that batshit crazy.

4 out of 5 top hats.

Death in Apartment 603 on Hulu about a woman (Ellen Greenberg) found murdered, but ruled a suicide with Philly botching* the investigation into her death. Are y'all familiar with the case?

Good 3 part series, watches fast, worth it if anyone's into true crime stories.

3.5 out of 5 lawsuits against the city

*"botching" probably isn't strong enough

Clearly fictional as PPD and the PMEO set the nationwide standard for excellence. 🙄

I remember the case vividly. Many, many people in the LE community were surprised at the finding.

I wasn’t involved, but I know several of the brass lost their shit when the ME declared it a suicide.

Recall it. Crazy.

In TV almost none of you will care about the Netflix documentary on Puff Daddy or Diddy or Dumbass or whatever his name is this week is pretty good. It does however pass over or gloss over some pretty key events.

3 out of 5 bottles of baby oil because of the omissions (which lawyers probably required)

My wife doesn't want to watch Landman until the entire season is released, so I can't wait to see what we "agree" upon next.

Can't believe I've never seen it until this past week - but I really like 'Meat Eater' on Netflix - and I love to hate watching Netflix. After a few episodes, I was drawn in. Even had Joe Rogan on it back when he first got hooked by the 'hunting bug'

If you are a hunter, you will probably enjoy it - it's not just an older guy with enough money to go on 25,000 dollar guided hunts - he works in the food angle as well with bits on preparing all the crap he kills.

The new season is being released on YouTube. Rinella went to Africa. Solid season.
