My Random TV Thread

Endeavour on Amazon prime is pretty sweet. Each program is a bit like watching a movie murder mystery set in the 60's.

I've tried to watch the Walking Dead, and just can't get into it. Next up for serious TV:

- GoT Season 5 (I'm going by the DVDs - read all the books so don't have a strong burning need to find out "what happens next")
- Vikings
- Heard good stuff about The Man in the High Castle - can anyone confirm or deny?

And yes, Narcos is on Netflix's "win" list. While I'm sure some of it has "artistic license" applied, it seems like they put some real effort into keeping it in line with what actually went down.

Following up on this, I just finished season 1 (the only one produced at the moment) of The Man in the High Castle. My opinion: 10/10, equal quality to House of Cards and Narcos. It may not be everyone's flavor but if the premise below sounds interesting, it's worth checking out.

"It's 1962, America has lost WWII; the east is the Greater Nazi Reich and the west, the Japanese Pacific States. Amidst this oppression there is new hope - films that seem to show a different world. When her sister gives her a film and is then murdered, a woman comes to believe the films hold the key to freedom and becomes obsessed with finding their mysterious guardian, The Man in the High Castle."

Bear in mind, I haven't read the Phillip K. Dick novel; I'm just opining based on what Amazon produced.

I started, I think I'm 3 episodes in. I agree it won't be everyones cup of tea but I find it interesting. I haven't read the book either but I think I might pick up a copy after I finish watching all the available episodes.
 
Best Vikings episode this season because Ragnar finally fought someone, him and Rollo went back and forth like you read about. Interesting to see if one of his sons tries to kill him. Also, interesting how Lagertha is not around! My emotions are pretty jacked right now!

I kind of wonder if he dreamed it. Wife read the books though, she says that isn't likely.
 
Jon Snow wakes up, and kills everyone on his way south and takes the Iron Throne with Daenerys as his Queen.

Jon feeds all the Lannisters to the dragons.....While Daenerys and Sansa make out on Polar bear skins.

Arya Stark finds her way back from hell and is the Hand of the King and basically kills everyone else.

Jon and D have lots of beautiful babies that are blessed by the red witch and head north and kill all the White walkers in time for snacks..

Season 6 over in 1 episode!!!!!!!!!:-":zzz::wall::blkeye:
