My Random TV Thread

The Sopranos is amazing. Stick with it before passing such a judgement! The family stuff adds a dynamic that adds to the intrigue and killing. It's a brilliant show, that set the tone and opened the door for so many shows that everyone loves today.

I'll stick with it b/c the wife is watching it. Last night's episode was better.

The wife and I finished episode 4 the other night and it just gets crazier than I thought possible. The first one I thought was a little long but it gets most of the story set up done. If being a superhero was possible, I'm sure this is what it would be like in our world today.

Never watched the Sopranos nor have I watched Breaking Bad. Everyone says I just need to try it, I'd really like it. But it just holds no appeal to me for whatever reason and I don't feel like I'm "missing out".

I wanted to love this series but just couldn't get back into after the long wait for season 3; couldn't even make it through the first episode (Sea 3).
 
If you haven't seen The Expanse, you're wrong. Season 4 drops on Prime in Dec and is going to be even better now that sy-lie doesn't have their dick beaters on it anymore (Sy-Lie enjoys canceling shows in their prime). Even before Amazon salvaged it, the show is top tier. Better than GoT. Some even say it is what GoT was early on. Do IT!




For those that are into the show.... this YouTube channel has the blessing from the author and worked in conjunction with the writing team to make these technical briefs on the ships in the show. In other words, he got to do the tech breakdown on the ships and they were made canon.

The channel takes ships from various shows and does a tech breakdown which is pretty cool too, so find your favorite IP and check it out too.

I was watching it but stopped some time last season. I've been thinking of catching up and maybe now I will.

Well I know what I will be wasting time on on the plane.
 
Just finished Season 1 of The Sopranos and I still groan a bit...but Gandolfini and his hoods (and the strippers) are making it watchable for me. BTW, there's a feature film in production, a prequel to The Sopranos called The Many Saints of Newark. Ray Liotta and Gandolfini's son are part of the cast.
