FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (USASOC News Service, May 24, 2007) – Each year just before Memorial Day, the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) holds a ceremony honoring Night Stalkers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Hundreds gathered for this year's ceremony when the 160th unveiled the names of nine fallen Night Stalkers added to the unit's memorial wall here, yesterday.

Those ceremonies are real tear-jerkers. I've never been in a unit that takes care of the families of its fallen better than the 160th. I think I mentioned before on this board that I told my wife if I died on active duty, I wanted it to happen while I was in the 160th, because I knew she'd be taken care of for life.

That's really great. I knew the guys on the 3rd Battalion bird. Mike Hall had the best t-shirts. He got me with the "I'm with stupid" t-shirt when we walked into a restaurant. The arrow was pointing straight at me. I didn't realize it until half the place was cracking up.
