School/Mass shootings are now part of our culture.

You can also be just batshit crazy and a motive is never truly known, if one existed in the first place. We may never know why this guy did it, BUT it is easy to speculate. Previous high profile shootings either had fabricated info or info withheld. The FBI is running the investigation and Kash Money has proven to be anything but honest, so do we trust their press releases?

I also like @Florida173's woman angle because that one's very plausible.

Meh.

There was also a shooting (8 shot/3 killed) in North Carolina, at a coastal town, from a boat into a bar/restaurant. Also a Marine, his social media shows someone who was batshit crazy with mental illness and TBI.

I'm sure that Stein will be virtue signaling the need to control guns in front of any camera that he can find...

Already there, my friend: NC needs stronger reaction to 'profoundly troubled' people, Stein says after Southport shooting

NC doesn't have Red Flag laws yet, so he is pushing those. Already talked about various forms of gun control vis-a-vis standard Democrat Talking Points. The one thing he and the state GOP have in common is trying to address mental health reform.

Looks to me that a troubled guy falls for mormon woman, and to go on with the relationship he had to remove tattoos and get permission from the church. I'm guessing they said no.

It's only made political by politicians using this as a platform. Trump will say "another example of attacks on Christians" and the left will say "see! right wing terrorism is real because he MAGA!"
Have you seen anything like that?
Mormons don't need permission from the church to get married.
My ex is LDS, and we didn't get permission from her Bishop.

If only he had done his job when he was the states Attourney General...
...but he didnt.

Like so many others cut from his cloth, the problem is his platform.
Why fix anything when you can use it as your campaign platform.

I don't think we've seen anything but him being troubled and some sort of failed relationship or something. My point was more aligned with that this probably wasn't in anyway politically motivated.
