Right now given that we have guys and girls in the dirt from the Army, Navy and Air Force up here in Canada, I'd love to see a lot of those whiny fat bitches go through the training.

It is important for anyone who wants to operate an aircraft over a combat zone to have SERE training - never know when your aircraft might be blown outta the sky or simply quit on you.

AF watered down version is similar to the watered down version ARSOUTH makes it's people take every year.
We can't send everyone, so leaders are doing their best to give folks a little SA.
IMO- It's more of a RE then SERE course.
