Good evening gents, I hope this finds you all well and I appreciate you all taking the time to read and to offer some advice.

I have been concerned since my last physical that I have SB. So far for me it's only been a low resting heart rate and I haven't had any extreme symptoms or what have you and I have been doing rucks, runs(sometimes both), FTXs, and I have been to some training in the mountains, etc.. To my understanding it's pretty normal for athletic people and I would consider myself to be athletic. How would this affect any prospects I have for attending an A&S in the future?

I didn't follow the rules that I agreed too. Yeah, I'm not too smart, and I've failed at everything meaningful I've attempted in life.

Before you post again, fill out your profile, and post a proper intro. These are in the rules you agreed to. Further, this is a Special Ops Selection Area, unless you are a Special Operations member, you are way out of your lane.

I have a very low heart rate/BP.
I would have to do flutter kicks prior to the EKG also (as an aside, I could not pass the AF Bicycle test because my heart rate was too low).
Don't worry if you are smoking the PT test, I wouldn't even mention it unless you start passing out (my eventual problem).
FWIW- The most clued in Flight Surgeon we had looked at my numbers and commented that I must be a runner as runners tend to have low heart rates/BP's.

Ok.. So this is not an immediate no go? I haven't had any symptoms such as that and I'm still smoking PT..

Correct. Not an immediate dis-qual.

I'm sure someone will talk with you about it if they screen you.

I had a HR of 42 with my ETS physical. Got an EKG and a long talk with the doc. He asked me how far I ran.

Sinus bradycardya, in a young athletic person with no other cardiac history, is a good thing. With a resting pulse below 60 beats/minute, your cardiac output, cardiac ejection fraction, is very good. Even with exercise, the pulse may well stay low as well. If you want to go through the trouble, see your health care provider for an evaluation and a diagnosis. Take a copy of the report with you to present at the time of your MEPS testing. Your heart is likely very healthy.

I hate people like you who can run FAST forever and not get tired...especially at altitude.
