Wtf was the correct term for the type of reconnaissance that is done in absolute close proximity to a target. Such as setting up shop next to the target building dressed in hajj gear. I used to know the term but now its at the tip of my tongue and I can't function If I don't find out asap. It's in that middle ground between special reconnaissance and espionage. This is driving me crazy. PM me or quote me so I can see the notification pop up.

I know its not special and its not deep.

It's close to proximate infiltration, or proximate strategic recon. those probably aren't the current terms though.
