Hello everyone,
I was recommended this forum by a colleague, whom by it comes highly recommended. Lots of great information here so far.
A brief introduction of myself; I am Navy Res critical care nurse(1960K) currently deployed to CENTCOM supporting a small-team expeditionary role II asset as casevac nurse post DCR/S. While home, I am a career flight nurse/paramedic, board certified in critical care(CCRN) and flight(CFRN). ICU by trade with over 10 years of pre-hospital/ocean rescue/EMS experience. I am seeking any sound advice/mentorship in my goal of occupying a SOST Critical Care RN billet. I have read through most all of the information searchable online and am seeking first-hand advice should anyone be so willing. I am highly motivated to submit an inter-service transfer request for a shot at selection upon my return home in early 2019.
