and that sounds like Palpatine at the end ? Not sure where they are going with this one lol .... but it kind of feels like an improvement over the Last Jedi to me, for whatever reason.

I'm pretty sure it was that beta-male Rian Johnson and Kathleen Kennedy that ruined Star Wars, not JJ Abrams.. You could tell that JJ Abrams was at least a fan..
 
What upsets me even more is how RL politics and social agenda are forced into every fictional franchise now. Clearly that's what fans are asking for ....

Remind me again, why was it some generic purple haired chick in civilian cloth nobody ever heard of, who was given command and an honorable heroic death to save the remaining rebels .... instead of idk .... perhaps someone people actualy know, love and care about, like Admiral Ackbar .... who they shamelessly kill off almost off-screen ? < - for ppl who didn't notice, Ackbar died, when the bridge was destroyed and Leia sucked into space. Worst character death I've ever withnessed in a movie. You completly missed that if you blinked, not even mentioned.
 
maybe the villain in the new Star Justice Wars will have a space-age combover and a YUGE compound as his space headquarters...
...and wasn't there a guy in the last movie that colluded with the enemy?

Nonono, you've got it all wrong. A true environmentalist would've given themselves up to the First Order rather than wasting loads of fuel by running for hours upon hours in The Last Jedi. Granted, with how that movie went, I probably would've preferred that, anyways.

OF COURSE, a true SJW would have given themselves up to the First Order in short order – any decent person would side with the Empire just to escape the opression of the Jedi. Where have you been since 1977 ??? The Jedi have ALWAYS been the villains.

The Jedi zealously withheld knowledge based purely on THEIR view of right and wrong. The Jedi (a group that paraded about as apolitical peacekeepers) forced their own morality on others through mind tricks and self-righteous manipulation of the government even though they were clearly NOT elected members of the Senate.

The Jedi were an elitist organization that decided who could and who could not serve as a Jedi.
They took children away from their parents at a ridiculously young age so they could militarize these children and teach them to disavow their emotional bonds - literally restricting these young children from ever building or maintaining a loving personal relationship. The separatists were literally "illegal aliens" in the eyes of the Jedi. When Palpatine was appointed to his position according to the law - the Jedi wanted no part of it - purely because they were at odds with the "religious teaching" of the Sith.

The Sith unapologetically went in search of knowledge in order to master their lives. The Jedi restricted knowledge to an elite few. Obi Wan used fraud and deceit to gain access to a clone facility - Mace Windo incited a riot that led to hundreds of deaths and then attempted to murder a government official in cold blood because in his "opinion" - the Emporer was just "too dangerous to be left alive"
...this from a guy that had recently cut a guys head off in front of his own child. No judge - no jury - just "too dangerous to be left alive" all because the Sith practiced a different belief system

This does not make me think the Jedi are all butterflies and rainbows.

Obi Wan left Anakin for dead – leaving him in agony to burn to death at the edge of a volcano. Did the Jedi try to save him – or ease his pain? No – the Sith saved him from death – and even gave him bionic limbs and a life support system. All the while, the Jedi were kidnapping his children so he could not be with them. Ben Kenobi even watched over the boy to make sure he wouldn’t learn about his father.
Why did the Jedi lie to a boy about his father ?
So they could trick the boy into killing his own father because he changed religions.

It’s a never ending cycle with these rebel scum – and what did Luke Skywalker do when he finally reached the rank of Jedi Master? He cut his fathers arm off in a sword fight, and then damn near killed his nephew simply because he was worried his nephew might make some bad life choices.

No sir – the Jedi are NOT the hero’s we make them out to be – the smart choice would be to get one of those cool White Armored suits and work for the government – just DON’T volunteer for one of those Death-Star duty stations – those fuckers burst into flames faster than a ’72 Ford Pinto…

Star Wars Movies Will Take a Break After Episode IX, Disney Says

Walt Disney Co. Chief Executive Officer Bob Iger said he’s not at all concerned that consumers may be overexposed to the Star Wars brand, but the film franchise will go on “hiatus” after December’s big release.

“We have not announced any specific plans for movies thereafter,” Iger said in a Bloomberg Television interview Thursday. “There are movies in development, but we have not announced them.”
