Sounds fucking terrible.I imagine quite a few folks here will have something to say about this one:
Australian Defence Force chief Angus Campbell says mandatory helmet cameras for special forces a 'good idea'

Let’s start adding more gear to guys... also adding another post mission task (downloading and processing post-mission footage) is sure to make the guys happy...I imagine quite a few folks here will have something to say about this one:

Well said. This is why I hate the whole “operator” identity. I’m not some gray area, half spy half soldier. I’m an airborne infantryman assigned to a special operations unit. I’m doing the same shit LTC Winters and Easy Company did 75 years ago, just for a different boss. The rules of war still apply to me. I’m not trying to be a “hoodlum or brigand.” A lot of guys have gotten away from that the last 20 years. And apparently it’s happening in allied countries as well.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
Someone please translate this into an American Unit so that it is easier to understand? An article with the full statement:

Are they essentially disbanding the SEAL’s, spreading them throughout Big Navy, and starting from scratch?
Just trying to understand the impact. So in SEAL speak would this be like disbanding SEAL Team 6?They are disbanding a sub unit of the SASR, not the whole Regiment.
