The Trump Presidency 2.0

Minus taking money from them, what other avenues do they have left to pursue if no laws were broken? Money is all you can do. It is a hollow victory, but maybe all that can be had. The rot that created DEI discrimination isn't going anywhere because our universities created the rot in the first place. They won't learn a lesson until their pocketbooks take a beating harder than an NFL player's girlfriend.
Plenty of laws were broken, though. The "protests" were riots where property was damaged, people were deprived of their civil rights, and citizens were assaulted. Laws were also broken through openly-racist admissions policies. People need to lose their jobs and/or go to prison over these things. Those hundreds of millions of dollars didn't come out of the perpetrators' pockets, they couldn't care less if Columbia had to settle. It didn't cost them a thing.

Someone really needs to explain to me the legal basis for this? The liberal judges have set so much bad precedent over the past 6 months it will do exactly to the Democrats what Harry Reid did to them when he removed the Filibuster. Bit them in the you know where.

Doesn't stand, SCOTUS already ruled these nationwide rulings by Judges are unconstitutional.

At this point, the Sydney Sweeney ad is 100% political, when did like hot women become political?
If I could offer; it's an ad for clothing with one of the most relevant and hottest actresses in the game. It's a jeans commercial.

Do you think you might be shoehorning politics into something that definitely isn't political?

Me? No I am not. I'm on the why are people writing thought pieces on LinkedIn about a jeans commercial with the most relevant and hottest actresses in the game is a call back to Eugenics...rather than, oh they put a hot girl in their ad to sell jeans, can't believe it took them so long.

So perhaps I'm outraged at the outrage? But y'all remember the 90s when Carl's Jr/Hardee's Super Bowl commercials only had hot girls in them?

I think you probably are the bolded.

The fact that you sort of missed here is that people are retarded. All of them, especially on the internet.

People are connecting the commercial's support of eugenics with the current administration, saying 47 and Co. have created an environment where blonde/ blue white women are the ideal woman, what happened to diversity, blah, blah, blah.

People make it about politics because people are stupid and the space rock isn't here. I noted the furor and moved on because I have important things to worry about like picking up hemorrhoid wipes this weekend at Costco.

She's an amazingly hot woman apparently wearing jeans in a commercial that's supposed to contain a car.

Space Rock: Accept no substitutes.

Only ugly people

The clips of they/thems complaining about the genes jeans would have never been noticed had not my favorite rags like NY Post picked up the story.

In other news, when is gas going back down to $1.59? Trump 45 had buck fitty gas and 2% mortgages. WTF did the Democrats accomplish to prevent more exploration and drilling that Trump couldn't simply un-do?

Gas was low during COVID due to low demand and the release of our strategic oil reserves. Rates will never be 2 again. Hoping for it is a fools errand. Rates of 2% while personally very beneficial, caused enormous inflation along with no payback loans and stimulus spending.

Rates below inflation don't make sense, but even before the pandemic in 2019 they hovered around 4%, which is great. In Feb 2020 just before the pandemic rates were as low as 3.25%.

I am personally benefiting from a 2.25% interest rate. However selling it and upgrading is now almost an unimaginable task.
I locked in at 3.16% before everything went to shit here. My banks current fixed is 4.69%. We wanted to sell in the spring but downsizing my parents over the fall/winter ate into that. Maybe by spring we'll be able to flip into something bigger.
