Looking for a buddy to train with for SFAS. Looking to get to 80/80/12 (push/sit/pull) and 13:45 or under for the 2-mile in the next 6 months or so. Biweekly weekend excursions with packs would be great, too. My areas of weakness are definitely cardio/endurance stuff - been a smoker for almost ten years and I'm finally down to one a day. Also quit booze. Presently at 40/40/9 and [REDACTED FOR DIGNITY'S SAKE] for the 2-mile. Only been training a few days though so I have a strong, if likely misplaced, sense of optimism that I can hit a 300 APFT before my 28th birthday. But like I say, I really, really want to hit 80/80/12 and be able to kick ass well past the 16 miles required. If I'm gonna be a dusty old fart coming in off the street, I want to at least put the best foot forward.
