Tyson v Paul Fight

Live look at Netflix CEO…

The one thing that amuses me about the buffering is that I can imagine Netflix executives worldwide experiencing genuine panic attacks as this is happening right before their eyes.

God damned 2024, fucking NSA can spy on us from million miles away but Netflix can't get their shit together!?

Well, I haven't been able to stream shit for past 30 - 45 minutes. Stuck at 25% buffer. I hope Tyson has knocked Jake the fuck out by now.

Well, sounds like Tyson lost, but I wouldn't know because I was buffering for all except about 10 sec in round 3. Netflix sucks ass.

That fight was terrible; not a serious one.

Not that I was expecting some great battle, but there's no way that wasn't rigged, fixed, choreographed, whatever you want to call it. Tyson literally just stood there eating some not so devastating punches while occasionally throwing a punch.

I don't know what that was, but it wasn't a legit fight.

Went back and watched the undercard ladies fight. Wow! Hellufa battle, but the Serrano corner was a classless set of clowns at the end. Close fight for sure, but Serrano wasn't robbed.

Best fight of the night. The L was BS. I gave this a tie.

The only thing giving Katie the edge was Serrano's eyebrow she split in the 4th round, which she then deliberately exploited to the point of the judge taking a point from her.

And when I say edge, I mean she was able to stay toe-to-toe with someone who still landed more than 100 more punches than her while fighting with her eyebrow flapping wide open for six rounds. Katie's a phenomenal boxer and now I'd love to see how she handles herself against Serrano next time without the headbutting nonsense, accidental or otherwise.

Upside to this is we got to see how tough Serrano was for sticking it out, and it's a great setup for the third match, which I'll be making a point to see.

Solid rematch between Serrano and Taylor last night, with the ideal baseline for any fight: evenly balanced fighters who avoided clinches.

This one was probably the least entertaining of their fights because it was less of a brawl than their first two and more just clean, careful boxing. They both kept level heads the whole time and stuck pretty closely to their strategies.

Part of me saw a direct conflict of interest with Jake Paul running the event and directly advocating for Serrano, but as much as I also wanted her to win I was also glad Taylor won the match (and fairly) so you couldn't really dismiss it as a fixed fight.

The Green-Marshall fight stole the whole night and should've headlined the event. They were so into it by the end they kept fighting past the 10th round because neither heard the bell.
