US pastor released in Turkey

Andrew Brunson was released from Turkey yesterday. He is the brother of my wife's best friend here in Durham.

He has been in Turkey for many years, but once he opened his doors to Kurds, he was charged with terrorism, aiding/abetting terrorism, and conspiracy. Trump and Pence have been working on his behalf for a long time.

Yesterday Brunson's wife was in their van with their kids, received a call from Air Force 2, VP Pence was on the phone, said "we're coming home."

As I type Brunson is at the White House meeting with Trump.

I'm sure these events are totally unrelated.
