It's a great account of heroism but they probably shouldn't publish things about nominated awards... kind of awkward if the award gets downgraded. Which happens all the time. I'm not saying that he doesn't deserve the award but they should wait until the awards board concludes to write articles about it.

Excellent work, no matter if he doesn't get the SS. He saved lives at the peril of his own and returned injured from a mission completed.
